Re-Turning

I hope I’m not spoiling it for you, but I can’t keep it contained any longer. This is my favorite week. We kickstarted it with another amazing, challenging video, followed by an in-depth study of the most famous section of Esther. You’re in for a strong ending, too, but in order to maximize what this week has for you, stop what you’re doing, and open up to this week’s assignments. You won’t be disappointed.

The first few days are intense-weeping, wailing, sack cloths (and trying to remember where the book of Joel is in the Bible). Don’t let the intensity of emotions get you down. Beth makes such a pivotal point in Day One. This horrific experience that the Jews in Persia are enduring-it’s God’s way of turning them back to Him. Now remember, the Jews in Persia were the ones who’ve, in essence, turned their backs yet again on God. They were exiled from the Promised Land and when they were told they could return, they chose not to. And now they find themselves facing a violent execution. God’s response? Turn back to me. No matter what you do or where you are, he says, “ I LOVE YOU.” If it takes a crisis to redirect your path, then so be it. Why? So YOU WILL KNOW THAT I AM GOD!

What about you? Are you in the midst of a crisis? How is God redirecting your path? Or maybe you’re on the other side of a crisis. Can you look back at that storm and see how God used it to turn you back to Him? How He made you realize that when you say, “Who knows?” His response is “So that YOU KNOW!” Or maybe, just maybe a storm is approaching. What will your response be? Turn to Him. He’ll be waiting. Remember that.

Day 4 is the kicker for me. I can still remember the day I completed that homework the last time I did this study. It was life changing for me. I highlighted almost every word on page 98.

God is about to move you, if He hasn’t already. This is the time, ladies. God’s destiny awaits you. Your story is written. What will your next chapter be called?

Don’t miss this week. The video is phenomenal. And remember, my friend, Elizabeth, will join us to share some insight on celebrating Passover.  I just can not wait to hear what you’ve learned this week!
