Idlewild Baptist Child Development Center is a "4 Star Rated" licensed, non-profit Christian childcare center. The center was established in 1991. We offer a wide variety of interesting experiences for your child such as art, science, music, exercise fundamentals, language development, bible studies and Christian principles, social interaction, early reading and math skills, computer learning, as well as other special events and activities. These activities are designed to promote growth of your child physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Each staff member is certified in CPR and First Aid, and participates in a variety of center and state training in order to be ready to provide the highest level of quality care.
We, at Idlewild Baptist Child Development Center, believe that a child is one of God's greatest and most precious gifts. With His guidance, our goal is to train children to develop and grow in a positive manner in all areas of their lives caring, nurturing, arid loving your child is not just our job, but as our calling to benefit and prepare children in a Christian environment.
All of the staff at Idlewild Baptist Child Development Center love children and we consider it a wonderful privilege to care for and love your child.

The child development center hours are from 6:30am - 6:00pm.
Ages and Ratios
We enroll children from 6 weeks through 12 years old. Our child/staff ratios are as follows:

||(3.5 years – 4.5 years)

Each class uses one of the approved early childhood curriculum. The curriculum that the infant and toddlers teachers follow is the Creative curriculum. The two year old teachers and teachers of the older classes use the Abeka curriculum.
